Security arrangements at the office and residence of Ram Gopal Varma in Mumbai have been beefed up after he received a threat on Thursday (October 24, 2013).
Varma had got threats earlier also due to the content of his forthcoming crime saga Satya 2, which the promos showed.
"On basis of an intercepted conversation, Mumbai police gave me security..for various reasons, I can't divulge the contents of the threat," Varma posted on Twitter.
However, Varma did not confirm whether the threat had anything to do with the film.
"For some important reasons, I cannot comment on whether or not this threat to me is related to the content of Satya 2," he said.
Satya 2 release date has been shifted from October 25 to November 8.
